GU24 Base

The LED PAR30 bulbs in this category have a GU24, twist & lock base. These LED bulbs operate, like screw base, on a standard 120V circuit. This base type has several advantages over the more common screw base: (1) overall bulb length can be shorter, which is useful for some fixture types; (2) utilities like them for energy efficiency programs because it prevents an easy switch back to incandescent or halogen, (3) the hospitality industry and other similar facilities used by the general public may reduce theft because the LED bulbs have a base not useful in most traditional household fixtures. The GU24 base is California Title 24 compliant.
