Topbulb Makes Replacing Light Bulbs Easier

One of the biggest problems with replacing a light bulb is knowing which is the right one to get for a particular piece of equipment. While a standard 60 watt bulb is probably the easiest to replace, even that is getting more complicated as the government phases out incandescent bulbs and pushes consumers towards CFLs and LEDs.

But what about that weird flood out on the front porch? Or the tiny bulb in that old flashlight you refuse to give up because it’s ten times sturdier than the cheap plastic alternatives? There’s no sense in getting a new $17.00 flashlight when a bulb might cost less than a buck, but how can you remember the exact bulb number every five years when it burns out?

This is why we at Topbulb decided to make it easier for everyone — consumer and business alike — to identify, replace, and reorder the correct bulbs.

For customers who have registered and purchased bulbs on Topbulb, every bulb, ballast, control, and fixture in every order now has a “comments” box. This is the perfect tool to keep track of your light bulbs.

Just hit “Log In” in the top right corner, then navigate to “My Orders” on the left side of the account dashboard.

This is the dashboard you see upon logging in. To see previous items ordered and leave comments, click the “My Orders” link on the left side of the screen.

All of your previous orders will appear, along with tracking information, totals, date placed, the items you ordered, a comments box, and a handy “Reorder” button to make replacing bulbs as seamless as possible.

On this screen, you can leave comments, reorder previous items, and see your previous order information.

Ordered a medical battery for your specialty equipment? Save your comment with the model number and you’ll never wonder which one to reorder in the future.

Need bulbs with weird codes like ENX, ENH, EHC, or EXN, but you can never quite remember which bulbs go with which projectors? You can keep your comments in past orders to keep track of every bulb for every piece of equipment you use.

While this tool is useful for consumers with a lot of different bulbs, wattages, lumens, and color temperatures, it’s even more essential for commercial, medical, and educational institutions, who may have to order hundreds of different types of bulbs for different areas of a building and various types of equipment.

And now, with our revamped “My Orders” section of our website, it’s never been easier to keep track of dozens or hundreds of different light bulbs and lighting supplies!

Because, let’s be honest. Replacing a burnt-out light bulb isn’t the most glamorous part of your job. In fact, it’s probably a hassle to identify the bulb and find the replacement. That’s why we’ve streamlined the process and made replacing lamps a lot more efficient than it’s ever been.
