Celebrating Earth Day at Northwest Indiana 10th Anniversary Event

Topbulb will be participating in this year’s Northwest Indiana Earth Day 10th Anniversary Celebration to help educate local consumers in the Porter County area about environmentally-friendly lighting products. If you live in the area, please come to the event and stop by our booth. The event is free and there will be giveaways as well as fun for the whole family!

The event is run by The Recycling & Waste Reduction District of Porter County which is a government agency established in 1993 devoted to improving the environment and quality of life for Porter County residents by providing convenient, voluntary waste reduction programs. The Recycling & Waste Reduction District of Porter County promotes environmentally friendly stewardship among individuals and businesses through education programs, waste reduction services and other outreach programs to meet the statutory waste reduction goals set by Indiana.

This event is appropriate for all those interested in having a positive impact on the environment, including families, friends, and couples. Those who come will be able to connect with over 80 exhibitors, including Topbulb. Organizations will show them how to get in touch with nature; businesses such as Topbulb will educate them on earth-friendly products and services; and school groups will communicate ways they can reduce individual impacts on the planet. The event also features plenty of entertainment, activities, food, and things to do and see.

The event will go on from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday, April 18th, 2015 at Northwest Indiana’s Porter County Expo Center. The exact address of the location is: 215 East Division Road, Valparaiso, Indiana, 46383. The event offers free admission, so all you need to do is gather your friends and/or family and enjoy a day of free, educational entertainment that will you bring you knowledge and corresponding products on how to improve your environmental impact and the related utility savings that come from doing so.
